Inition created a number of interactive elements for Fast & Furious Live's world tour.
We used our crowd control technology to enable members of the audience to firstly be able to customise their very own sub 10 second drag race Evo, deciding between body kits, wheels, graphics, paint jobs and performance upgrades.
They were then able to race this car down a Los Angeles road, with the ability to change gear at key points to determine their performance, before hitting the nitro boost.
Fast & Furious Live producer, Roland French's dream was for the audience to be able to race a real car in the stadium.
We used our same crowd control tech alongside some extra wizardry to enable the two halves of the audience to recreate the iconic race between Vin Diesel's Dodge Charger and Paul Walker's green Eclipse.
The timing of the gear changes, determined how well their car performed in the race. Coupled with some amazing projection mapping from Kate Dawkins studio and Dandelion and Burdock, gave the impression that the cars were racing down the LA river.
We recreated the interior of Racers Edge, where Paul Walker worked in the first movie, to set the backdrop for the Evo customisation sequence.
And also made a long strip straight out of LA, where the audience could test their driving skills.
