Responsibilities / Drone Animation. Lighting. Rendering. Compositing
At the top of the Burj Khalifa is a new glass walk way experience. Using 18 4k LED screens, to simulate the view 800m below you.
As the members of the public walk across the platform, their progress is tracked causing hairline cracks to appear in the glass below them.
A drone appears hovering below them, as it starts to lose control in the high winds, causing it to fly erratically up into the glass platform, creating a large crack in the glass.
I was responsible for the full production of the drone, from animation, lighting and rendering, through to compositing with wind and dust effects. Also did the sound design.
